David Darrell Hayes, age 66 of Greenbrier, passed away Sunday September 29, 2024 at his home. He was born December 7, 1957 in Orville, Ohio to the late Harvey Hayes and Reva Ruth Casto Hayes. He was a very simple man, very go-with-the-flow. His quick wit and clever remarks always caught us off guard, and lightened the mood. Whether he was telling a joke or sharing a story from his past, he had an uncanny ability to make ordinary moments hilarious. He loved motorcycles and working with his hands, mountain Biking, fitness and doing things for others. David was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his life long friend and the mother of his child, Frances LeAnn Hayes (Broyles); four children, Noel Posey (Ricky), Brandy Collins (Anthony), David Gregory Hayes, Jody Broyles; one brother, Adam Hayes; one sister, Evelyn Feather; grandchildren, Austin, Asia, Amya, Alexis, Tycen, Bosten, Baylor and Joslyn and one great grandson, Mason.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, October 11, 2024 at Russell Cemetery in Belleville. Visitation will be held Friday, 9:00A.M. to 10:00A.M. at the cemetery.
