David Wilks David Dale Wilks age 76 of Dardanelle died Friday, April 4, 2014 at his home. He was born August 25, 1937 at Eagle Pass, Texas to the late Karl Glyn and Cora Mae Chandler Wilks. He was a member of the Russellville First Baptist Church and a United States Army Veteran stationed in Greenland during the Cuban Missile crisis. He was a self employed business owner until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Douglas Wilks. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Wilks of Dardanelle; two sons, Dave Wilks of Lincoln, Cade Wilks of Dardanelle; two step children, Katy Hill and husband Jacob of Russellville, Joe Futterer and wife Amberley of Springdale; two brothers, Glyn Wilks, Don Wilks both of Texas; one sister, Nell Duvall of Texas; nine grandchildren, Taylor, Michaela, Emmy and Hope Wilks, Owen, Olivia and Eloise Hill, Elsy Kate, and Addler Futterer and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, April 7, 2014 from 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
