Obituary

David Odell Womack David Odell Womack, age 54, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 12, 2012. David resided at Dayton community near Greenwood and was a long time resident of Havana, AR. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a member of the Havana United Methodist Church. He was in grocery retail management and employed by CV's grocery store. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Buffi Adelle Womack, his dad Joel Clinton Womack, a sister, Rosie Womack, and a baby brother; his grandparents, Lyman Odell and Varina Hovis Womack, and grandfather Daniel Raines and grandmother Icy Rutherford; the Womack Quartet and other beloved aunts and uncles. Surviving him is his children Brandi and Chris Sanderson of Booneville, AR and Lindsey and Korey Lee of Havana, AR. He has two grandchildren, Garyn Sanderson of Booneville and Shandi Lee of Havana. His mother Lila James, and stepdad Bobby Joe James of Havana, siblings, Sarah and husband Ricky Shepherd of Atlanta, AR, Danny and wife Faye Womack of Belleville, AR, Linda Womack, of Atlanta, AR, Bobbie Marie James of Havana, Ernie and wife Tish James of Havana, Ricky and wife Mona James of Danville, Barbara James of Fayetteville, AR., and a lifelong friend and mother of his children Marla Robinson. He had a host of very loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. Pallbearers include Travis Pierce, Jim Pierce, Chris Chambers, Jansen May, Rhine James and Wade James. Visitation will be at Cornwell Funeral Home on Friday, January 13th, 2012, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Memorial services will be on Saturday, January 14th, 2012, at 10:00am at Havana Assembly of God with Rev. Bruce Bennett officiating, followed by burial at Morris Chapel cemetery in Waveland, AR.
