Debra Jean Gaines Tackett, 71 of Danville, Arkansas began her eternal life with Jesus on Monday, December 5, 2022 at the Arkansas Hospice house in Russellville.

She was born June 9 ^th , 1951 to the late Stewart H. Gaines and Martha Jean Fields Gaines at the Magnolia City Hospital in Magnolia, Arkansas.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Andy Tackett, her son Andrew Tackett, her daughter-in-law Emily Tackett, and two grandchildren, Graham and Witt Tackett. Her brothers and sisters-in-law Terry and Sara Gaines of Little Rock, Russell and Sharon Gaines of Benton; mother-in-law is Polly Tackett of Atkins, brother-in-law Robert Tackett and his wife Othelia. She had many nieces and nephews.

Debbie was employed at Yell County Telephone/Arkwest Communications for 32 and a half years. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School and serving as the Secretary and Treasurer at the Western Yell County Church of Christ in Havana, Arkansas for nearly 17 years. She was a member of Riverpark Church of Christ in Russellville, Arkansas. She was surrounded by loving coworkers and many friends. Debbie loved everyone and enjoyed learning about their lives.

Memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 10 ^th , at the River Park Church of Christ in Russellville. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. before the service at the church. And open visitation Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Danville Cornwell Funeral Home.
