Eugene Jackson Delbert Eugene Jackson age 74 of London left this earth on his Heavenly Journal on Saturday, August 16, 2014. He was born September 15, 1939 at Deaf Smith County, Texas to the late Marvin and Opal Taylor Jackson. He married his wife, Frances Jackson on June 12, 1961. Eugene served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1964 and he enjoyed woodworking, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a jack-of-all-trades. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Daphine Jackson and Venita Simmons. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Frances Stovall Jackson; one daughter, Lisa Colon and husband Angel of Dardanelle; two sons, Rodney Jackson of Louisiana, Wayne Jackson and wife Flora of Mt. George; one brother, Lawrence Jackson of Texas; two sisters, Neoma Stokesberry and husband Chuck of Texas and Nadine Scales of Dover; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Price Cemetery on Hwy 64 west of London with Bro. Jim Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the funeral home. Honorary Pallbearers will be grandsons and Richard Ridgeway, Rusty Henry, Jim Ed Gibson.
