Delbert Leon Vaughan, age 86 of Dover, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born August 17, 1935 in Hector, Arkansas to the late D.A. Vaughan and Callie Romines Vaughan. He was a lifelong resident of Pope County and a member of the Hatley Missionary Baptist Church. Delbert was a founding member of the Pope County Mounted Patrol, where he was commander for 12 years. He was also a member of the Eagles Club, Dover Chamber of Commerce, State Apprentice Board for 12 years as President. He had his Masters License in Heating, Air, Plumbing and Electrical, and was co-owner of Russellville Plumbing and Heating for 50 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Callie and D.A. Vaughan; wife of 66 years, Winona Vaughan and a brother, Leo "Whitey" Vaughan.

Survivors include his two children, Vickie L. Harris of Russellville, Rose M. Vaughan of Dover; one brother, Gerald Don Vaughan of Fort Smith; grandchildren, Princess Wheeler (Eric) of Russellville, Dustin Dover (Holly Abels) of Dover, Jerad Dover (Shay) of San Antonio, Texas and great grandchildren, Grant Dover of Dover, Madalynn Wheeler of Russellville and Lydia Wheeler of Russellville.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Morphis and all former employees of Russellville Plumbing and Heating.
