Delbourne Prodoehl
Delbourne Allison Prodoehl age 81 died Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Saint Vincent Health System. He was born November 4, 1929 at Morton, Minnesota to the late Willie Chester and Priscilla Viola Pettis Prodoehl. He was of the Lutheran Faith but he attended Gum Springs Presbyterian Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran where he was part of the Army reserve 12 Special Forces Group Airbourne Green Beret. He was very active in the Disabled American Veterans Simpson-Turner Chapter 27 in Russellville and was a member of the American Legion. He loved his horses and dogs and most of all spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister and two brother-in-laws, Lois and John Fannon, Clayton Kamrath and his first wife, Luella Koch Prodoehl.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Deborah Prodoehl of Dardanelle; five children, Cheri Sandquist and husband LaRay of Minnesota, Joe Prodoehl and wife Brenda of Minnesota, Jeni Berbick of California, Rory Prodoehl of Minnesota, Michelle Walter and husband Louis of California; one sister, Arleen Kamrath of Minnesota; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial Services will be held 2:00P.M., Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Gum Springs Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Swiegart officiating. Cremation Arrangements By Cornwell Funeral Home, Dardanelle.
