Delores M. Smith age 78 of Pottsville passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born July 28, 1939 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska to the late Ole and Marie Kubista Mikkelson. She enjoyed bingo, sewing, knitting, traveling, reading and she was a member of the bowling league in Russellville for many years. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3928, former president of the Ladies Auxiliary and she was manager of the Delta Gas Station for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Marlin Murray Smith Jr.; one daughter, Pamela Sue Smith and two grandsons, Larry Jones, David Jones; nephew, Derrick Miller and a sister-in-law, Karen Aquisto.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Marlin Smith; daughter-in-law, Melissa Smith; special friend, Myra Price; sisters, Norma Jean Rawlins and husband Gary, Bonnie Mullennax and husband Chris; one brother, Tommy Bowman and wife Terry; three grandchildren, Thomas, Alex, Levi and one great grandchild, Sayuri.

A family conducted memorial service will be held at 6:00P.M., Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Eagles Club in Russellville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research foundation of your choice.
