Delvis Leeoyd "Big Boy" Taylor age 86 of Belleville passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Danville.

Big Boy was born November 9, 1930 in Harkey's Valley, Arkansas to the late Delbert Lee & Vada Emma Harkey Taylor. He was a Navy veteran and a retired Dallas police officer.

Preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Emma Hoover and brother, Oathes Ray Taylor.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Sue Vickers Taylor; son & daughter-in-law, David & Linda Taylor; daughter & son-in-law, Amy & David Barnhouse all of Belleville; sister, Bessie Lee May of Belleville; grandchildren, Justin & Alicia Taylor of Belleville; Dillon Barnhouse of Russellville; Katie Taylor and Cole Francis of Atkins; Matthew & Lisa Carter of Belleville; Andi & Cody Parsons of Belleville; Becca Carter and Bryan Gomez of Belleville; Ari Carter of Belleville;                                   great-grandchildren, Jackson, Alex, Ellie, Hunter, Jeb, Jacob, Riley, Noah, Kinsley and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
