Dennus Carrol Castleberry age 83 of Briggsville, passed away Sunday October 22, 2017 at Mitchells Nursing Home.

He was born November 7, 1933 in Rover, Arkansas to the late William Herbert and Neva Cathy Castleberry. He was a member of the Briggsville United Methodist Church. He was an Army Veteran and retired from Boeing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald and Bill Castleberry; sisters, Imogene Hunt, Clementine Pickering; infant sister, Nell Dean Castleberry and infant brother, Jerry Pal Castleberry and his late wife Tessie Gaston Castleberry.

Survivors include his wife, June; sons, Rex Castleberry (Shelby) of Danville, Kerry Castleberry (Donna) Wichita Kansas, Gregg Castleberry (Margie) Wichita Kansas; sister Betty Jackson Wichita Kansas; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Service will be Thursday October 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Briggsville United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Mt Zion Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation Will be October 25, 2017, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Cornwell Funeral Home in Danville.

Pallbearers will be Rex, Kerry, Gregg, Jacob, Garrett and Evan Castleberry.
