Deon Summit Deon Summit age 69 of Pottsville died Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Home in Russellville. He was born July 12, 1944 at Bluffton, Arkansas to the late Kirby and Evy Mae Summit. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Russellville where he loved lending a helping hand anytime the church needed it. Deon loved being in the outdoors especially his time hunting and fishing. Most of all he cherished his time with his family. He was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Jimmy D. Summit and two brothers, Jimmy C. Summit and Leon Summit. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Ann Carr Summit of Pottsville; three children, Jackie Summit and wife Leanne of Russellville, Tanya Enfinger and husband Michael of Jackson, Tenneessee and Kimberly Adams and husband Jerry of Pottsville; two sisters, Patsy Summit of Ola and Linda Hall of Little Rock; four brothers, Ervin Summit of Russellville, Eugene Summit of Waldron, Billy Summit of Plainview and Gary Summit of Dardanelle; four grandchildren, Casey Deon Summit and wife Brittany, Caleb Lynn Summit both of Russellville, Diyana Burris and Jonathan Burris both of Pottsville; two great grandchildren, Chandler and Brogan both of Russellville. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Monday, August 19, 2013 at Pentecostals of Russellville on Marina Road with Pastor Tony Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Bluffton Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00PM to 8:00PM today Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Cornwell Chapel.
