Derek Shane Beard age 48 of Russellville died Tuesday, March 14, 2017. He was born May 20, 1968 at Antioch, California to Earnest Layton Beard and Sharon Elizabeth Bly. He attended the Journey Church in Russellville and he loved to fish, riding his motorcycle and watching soap operas. He was preceded in death by his one son, Ezra Beard; grandparents, Bob and Martha Bly, Margaret Beard and a cousin, Todd Marshall.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Sharon and Bill Reams of Russellville; father and stepmother, Layton and Terri Beard of California; four children, Brooke Haley Beard of Russellville, Jordan McDaniel (Malachi) of Russellville, Taylor Beard of Russellville, Ryon Beard of Russellville; five brothers, Aaron Beard (Tawnya) of Bentonville, Bryan Reams of Russellville, Billy Reams (Christy) of Dover, Ryan Spangler of California, Chad Spangler of California; two sisters, Kristi Shaffer (Eddie) of Russellville, Rhonda Masters (Chad) of Dover and four grandchildren, Bella Herdman, Madison Lewis, Neveah McDaniel and Arya McDaniel.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Journey Church in Russellville.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Mills, Randy Hendrix, Martin Lueskow, Kane Marshall and Daniel Herdman.
