Dewey Joe Lewis, age 91 of Dardanelle, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born May 27, 1931 in Ola, Arkansas to the late David Dewey Lewis and Lillie Mae Davenport. He was a member of the Ola Free Will Baptist Church and he was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Hannah Lewis; two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Janet Lewis; daughters, Virginia Holland, Linda Ivey (Kenneth), Donna Traffanstedt (David), Rita Poynter, Connie Biggs; one son, Eddie Wilcox (Angie), one brother, Wayne Lewis; one sister, Bonnie Baskin; ten grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and another one on the way.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Monday, at the Ola Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. John David Keeling and Charles Lewis officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the church. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.

Pallbearers will be Bucky Talley, Carter Clemons, Josh Davis, Jonathan Wilcox, DeWayne McConnell and Jacob Talley.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Eddie Wilcox, Justin Fielder, Jerren Mconnell, Lane Cochran, Doomer Crow and Caleb Talley.
