Diann Ligon, 94, of Dardanelle, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 9, 2022. She was born March 8, 1928, Aspermont, Texas to the late Sid and Bonnie Lowery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ligon; sister, Betty Golden; son, Robert Ligon; daughter-in-law, Julia Martin; great granddaughter, Taylor Ligon.

Survivors include her son, Ralph Ligon of Dardanelle; three grandchildren, Michelle Laye and Renae Ligon of Jax, Florida, Rob Ligon of Grand Junction, Colorado; eight great grandchildren, Melanie, Clark and Abby Ligon of Colorado; Whitlea Robison; Kyle Laye and Stephanie Mendoza of Arkansas; Alexis Ligon and Bailer Rodrigues of Florida; step-grandsons, Chris Babson and Jamie Gadberry of Arkansas; step-granddaughters, Tanya Carr and Susie Mendoza of Arkansas; great-great granddaughters, Vanna Laye and Gracie Mae Robison of Arkansas.

Diann and her husband, Robert, resided in Houston, Texas from 1945-1986. In 1948 they started breeding and showing Boxers, producing several International AKC Champions. In the 70's, Diann obtained her AKC Judging Licencse and judged throughout the US till 2005. Diann and Robert moved to Scottsville, Arkansas in 1986 to raise Registered Brangus, having one Grand Champion.

Diann lived an extremely active and full life. She was much loved by all that knew her. We all will truly and greatly miss her.
