Obituary

Dolores May McLeron

Born 11/9/1937 – 1/25/2026.

Dolores May McLeron, age 88 of Belleville, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday January 25th, 2026, at Mitchell's Nursing home in Danville.

She was born on November 9th, 1937, in Texas to the late Alfred and Grace May Parks-Lewis. She will be eternally loved by her family who stayed near all her life even as she left for her Blessed home in Heaven. She was a loving faithful wife, caring mother, perfect grandmother, and sweetest great grandmother the world had privilege to know.

She was preceded in death by her husband David John McLeron, her parents, her stepfather James Lewis, her brother Donnie Parks, her sister Joyce Ollar, and nephew Scotty Ollar.

Dolores is survived by her children and their spouses, Rocky and June McLeron; Wayne and Pam Henson; Mark and Gina Gower. Her grand children and their families; Bentley and Rachel Whitbey and daughter Emersyn; Chad and Kiley Burge and their two children Zadie and Zeke; Emery and Maegan Gower and their two sons Marshall and Nolan; Trevor and Hope McLeron with their three daughters Rymington, Adleigh, and Isla; Cory Gower; Brady Gower. Niece Shelly Ritter and Nephews Terry Ollar, Ronnie Parks, Heath Parks, and Jerry Parks.

She was the living example of a loving, strong, and wonderful "country" mother. She and David raised their family to know right from wrong, to work hard, and how to celebrate holidays with big family meals! Her and David's life and work took them all over the southwest at times, finding the longest stops in Oklahoma and settling in Yell County Arkansas to raise a family. They left a lasting mark and eternal friendships with many, and most especially the church family at Havana First Baptist. Dolores and David came to Christ on the same Sunday night service, and this is also where they were both baptized. We are blessed to know and love Dolores. We will miss her deeply though she is Home now with her savior Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be at First Baptist Church of Havana at 1:00 pm on Friday January 30th followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Graveside service will follow at Havana cemetery. Brother Mark Gower will be officiating with special music by Brother Jeff Smith.

Pallbearers; Bentley Whitbey, Emery Gower, Trevor McLeron, Brady Gower, Zeke Burge, and Mark Lane. Honorary Cory Gower, Hoover Willard, and Jeff Smith.
