Don Quitman Reynolds, Sr. 84 of Danville, passed away at his home on Friday, October 2, 2015. He was born, January 4, 1931, at Memphis, Texas to the late Doke Herman and Lessie Faye (Pool) Reynolds. He was rural letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 18 years; a Korean War veteran; a member of the Danville Masonic Lodge #41; Ola Masonic Lodge #298; and a member of the First Baptist Church in Gallatin, Tennessee, but attended the Danville First Baptist Church for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Reynolds; son-in-law, Bob Pigott; brother, Billy Reynolds; and sisters, Johnnie Long, Laverne Sneed, and Ruth Brunt Survivors include his sons, Don Q. Reynolds, Jr. of Danville, Lawrence Reynolds and wife, Debi of Paris; daughter, Belinda Pigott of Booneville; brother, Winford Reynolds of Russellville; sister, Shirley Cloud of Santa Teresita, NM; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Monday, October 5, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at the Danville First Baptist Church with Brother Clayton Sheets officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church before the service. Interment will be at Macedonia Cemetery.
