Don Newton Watson, age 82 of Russellville passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1941 to the late Thomas Newton Poss and Ella "Linda" Pierson. Don served in the US Navy as a Petty Officer 3rd class Missile Tech. He was a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles #3928, and the Creed Deer Camp in Rison, AR. He was also a member of the Local Pipefitter's Union #454. Don was preceded in death by his parents; wife Virginia "Ginny" Watson, and a son Steve Honea of Conway.

Survivors include his daughter, Tonya K Glenn of Dardanelle; grandchildren Courtney (Russell) Gibson of Atkins, Josh VanOhlen of Alexander, and Steven Honea of Arkansas; great-grandchildren Eli Honea of Hamburg, Waylon Dale Keith and Willow Ruth Gibson of Atkins; and cousins T.J., Tod, and Paige Creed. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Cornwell Chapel, with a visitation 1 hour prior starting at 9:00 AM. Bro. Gary Blair will be officiating.
