Donald Eugene
Anderson
October 14, 1938 – October 23, 2025
Donald Eugene Anderson, age 87, of Dardanelle, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at UAMS in Little Rock. He was surrounded by his loving family as he peacefully passed from this life. Donald was born on October 14, 1938, in England, Arkansas, to the late Charles Anderson Sr. and Pauline Spradlin Anderson.
Donald lived a life filled with faith, family, and music. A proud member of the Branded By Christ Cowboy Church, he loved playing his guitar and lifting his voice in song to worship God. His music brought joy to those around him, and his kind spirit touched every heart he met. Above all, Donald cherished his family. Time spent with his loved ones was what he valued most, and the love he poured into them will be felt for generations to come.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three daughters, Judy Corbell, Regina Shirley, and Lynn Stell; one son, Dean Anderson; and three brothers, Charles Anderson Jr., Carl Anderson, and David Anderson.
Left to carry on his memory are his devoted wife, Barbara Anderson; his children, Joe Anderson (Dorothy), Donna Russell, Tammy Godwin (James), and Kevin Duvall (Winter); his sisters, Carolyn Hawkins, Brenda Hendricks, and Tinsy Stafford; his brother, Roger Anderson; and twenty-nine grandchildren, including Kayla, Sam, and Corey Russell, with whom he shared a special bond. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025, at Branded By Christ Cowboy Church. The Branded By Christ Cowboy Church will host a family brunch at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, as a time of fellowship and remembrance before the service. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Donald Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle.
Pallbearers will be Jim Yates, David Berge, Mark Keith, James D. Godwin, James Klingele, and Michael Stell.
Honorary Pallbearers are Corey Russell, James A. Godwin, and the Branded By Christ Cowboy Church.
Donald's life was a song of faith and love—one that will keep playing softly in the hearts of all who knew him.
