Donald Ray "Don" Bland age 73 of Danville passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at his home.

Don was born November 9, 1949 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Melvin Leo & Martha Nell Lamb Bland. He was a member and Deacon of the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church, an Army Vietnam Veteran where he received 2 Bronze Stars with V, and he owned and operated Don Bland Surveying for 40 years.

He was preceded death by his father, Leo Bland, mother, Martha Proctor, step-mother, Lee Bland, sister, Martha Kirby, and brother-in-law, Jerry Domerese.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda; daughter Mandy & B.J. Geels of Russellville; son, Chris & DeVean Bland of Danville; sisters, Mary Sue & Garry Lee of Russellville; Linda Domerese of Danville; Sherry Ball of Danville; brother, Billy Joe & Kelly Bland of Danville; grandchildren, Garrett Gray, Alexis Bland, Grant Bland, Callie Bland and Griffin Geels; several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the Upper Spring Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 31, at the funeral home. Burial will at the Lower Spring Creek Cemetery.
