Donald Duke

Donald L. Duke age 83 of Dardanelle died Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born July 25, 1933 at Ola to the late Odus and Ella Mae Copher Duke. He was a member of the Chickalah Baptist Church and a Route Driver for Shipley Baking Company delivering Holsum Bread. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Geraldene Duke and one son, Danny Duke.

Survivors include three children, Jerry Don Duke of Dardanelle, Debbie Myers and husband Harold of Dardanelle; three sisters, Nell Carmical and Pauline Wingate both of Cabot and JoAnn Moody of Conway; two daughters-in-law, Lisa Duke of Dardanelle, Ann Duke of Carthage, Texas; seven grandchildren, Amber Myers (Jason), Misty Cain (Chad), Jessica Alexander (Noel), Justin Reed, Kyle Russell, Kevin Duke (Irias), Jerica Duke and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Burial will be private in Petillo Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the chapel.

Pallbearers will be Bud Wingate, Michael Moody, Jason Pitts, Ken George, Harold Myers and Jo Heflin.
