Donna Lou Smith age 74 of Ola, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. She was born November 21, 1951 in Tulare, California to the late Connley Byrd and Dorothy Johnson. Donna was a dedicated grandmother and she loved playing cards, thrift shopping and driving a big truck with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Ronald Smith; two sons, Chris and Delbert Smith; her daughter, Jennifer Smith and brother and sister, June Smith and Bobby Byrd.

Survivors include her children, Amanda Heysek and son-in-law Ralph Garner Heysek, her son, Colton Smith; her siblings, Rita Byrd, Bill Byrd, Marvin Byrd, Ronnie Byrd and her grandson’s, Tristan Wood, Conner, Austin, and Ryan Heysek and her granddaughter, Emmalynn Heysek.
