Donnie Elbert Via, age 80 of Danville, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024 at his home. He was born February 20, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Alford Noel Via and Helen Jewell McIntosh. Donnie retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service and he served in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant twin brother, Ronnie Delbert Via; brother, Carol Via and a sister, Noelene Barnett.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Via of Danville; four children, Michael and Renee Via of Aubrey, Texas, Michelle and Mike McGraw of Aransas Pass, Texas, Timothy and Cindi Via of Centerville, Jimbo and Sasha Via of Ola; one brother, Robert and Lisa Via of Ozark; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Birta Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Michael Via, Jimbo Via, Daniel Delgado, Braedon McGraw, Connor Via, Chase Via, Gavin Via and Mike McGraw.
