Doreen Swatzel age 56 of Delaware died Saturday, December 29, 2012 at her home. She was born August 20, 1956 in Los Angeles, California to Robert and the late Eva Everett Berry. She was an LPN and a member of the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, John Swatzel, sons, Aaron Austin Swatzel of Delaware; Ryan Daniel Swatzel of Midway; stepson, Michael Swatzel of Russellville; four grandchildren, Avery Zane, Chris, Ashley and David, brothers, Darrell Berry and Dennis Berry both of Delaware and a sister, Donna Eubanks of Delaware and a host of nephews, nieces and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Tom McElmurry and Brother Leonard Moses officiating. Burial will be in Elizabeth Hall Cemetery, New Blaine. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 1, 2012 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle. Pallbearers will be Aaron Swatzel, Ryan Swatzel, Michael Swatzel, Darrell Berry, Dennis Berry and Robbie Underwood. Honorary will be members of the Dardanelle Missionary Baptist Church.
