Doris Anthony

Doris Burnett Anthony age 89 of Morrilton died Monday, February 1, 2016 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born October 23, 1926 at Hamilton, MS to the late Walter and Lethia Thomas Burnett. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Vernon, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Elmore Anthony and David Rayl; three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her three children, Diane Prock (John) of Greenwood, Louisiana, Rick Rayl (Cheryl) of Corinth, Texas, Rachel Rayl (Vicki Lynn) of Morrilton, Arkansas; two sisters, Jo Etta Browning of Vernon, Alabama, Dorothy Burroughs of Alabama; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016, 4:00P.M. to 6:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle. Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00A.M., Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery in Vernon, Alabama. These services will be conducted by Chandler Funeral Home.
