Doris Jean Armstrong age 70 of Russellville went to see Jesus on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born November 18, 1948 at Russellville, Arkansas to George Fraser Sr. and Bernice Sumners Fraser. She loved to crochet and do needlework. She was preceded in death by her father, George Fraser Sr.; her husband, Billy T. Armstrong; three brothers, Jerry Seward, George Fraser Jr., William Fraser; sister, Frances Gilchrist and her stepfather, John Freeman and three stepbrothers, John F. Freeman, Larry Freeman and Terry Freeman.
Survivors include her mother, Bernice Freeman of Russellville; two children, Tony Dunn (Kristy) of Checotah, Oklahoma, Tammy (Armstrong) Harmon of Dustin, Oklahoma; three brothers, Nolan Freeman of Ben Hur, Gary Fraser of Phoenix, Arizona, Frank Fraser of Durant, Oklahoma; four sisters, Mary Lou Collins (Johnny) of Dover, Kathryn Fraser, Gail Moore both of Weleeta, Oklahoma, Diane Little of Okamulgee, Oklahoma; stepmother, Myrtle Fraser of Oklahoma; two stepbrothers, Odell Freeman of Dover, Calvin Freeman of Hector; one stepsister, Nita Sain of Dover; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.
