Doris Dean Davis Earth Bound: March 18, 1930 Heaven Bound: September 15, 2013 Doris Dean Davis age 83 of Dardanelle died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. One of twelve children she was born March 18, 1930 at Malvern to the late George S. and Naomi Ruth Johnson Clemons. She attended the Robinson Point Church and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James E. Davis; a granddaughter, Shannon Adams; five brothers and five sisters. Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Adams and husband Ray of Dardanelle; three sons, Randall G. Davis of Dardanelle, Rodney G. Davis and wife Debi of Fort Smith, James E. Davis Jr and wife Gleen of Snowflake, AZ; one sister, Ruth Ellen English of Little Rock; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Brearley Cemetery in Dardanelle with Pastor Richard Adams officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.m. at the funeral home.
