Doris May Riley, 69 of Russellville, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at Legacy Heights Nursing & Rehab Center in Russellville. She was born October 1, 1944 in Virginia Beach, Virginia to the late Clyde Willard and Margaret Elizabeth (McGuire) Shorter. She was a retired supervisor for CM Vending and a member of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Lois Criswell and Shirley Walton. Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Dale and Jana Riley of Kingston, Max Allen Riley of Russellville; daughter, Nicki Riley-Antrim of Dardanelle; two brothers and sisters-in-law,, Clyde and Edna Shorter of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Johnny Ray and Susan Shorter of Windsor, Virginia; six grandchildren, Leighann Morrison, Keshia Philpott, Morgan Riley, Aubrey Antrim, Toney Antrim, and Dalton Antrim, and four great-grandchildren; father of her children, Rudy Max Riley of Russellville. Pallbearers include Dale Riley, Rudy Riley, C.W. Shorter, Timmy Noblett, Joe Howard, and Jonathan Philpott. Funeral services will begin at Tuesday, October 15, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Bruce Swanson officiating. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the church before the funeral.
