Dorothy Lee "Granny" Ritter age 80 of Gilkey Creek went to be with her Savior Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR.

Dorothy was born August 25, 1944 in Waldron, Arkansas to the late    W. T. & Edna Bates Hill. She was a member of the Plainview Jesus Name Church. She loved sewing, fishing, gardening and worshiping.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jerry Wayne Ritter; parents; infant sons, Jerry Wayne Jr. and Gary Wayne Ritter and her siblings.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Lee Ritter and her son, Timothy Wayne (Cheryl) Ritter; grandchildren, Charity Keener, Wendy Cooper, and Monty Cooper; great-grandchildren, Erika "Doodle" Burchard,  Gage Cooper, Alivia Sanderford, Cassie Garcia (Jose); great-great-grandchildren, J.J., Xavier, and Christian Alcantar, Nariah, and Sariah Racy; great-great-great-grandson, Cassius Garcia.

Funeral service will be 10:00 am Friday, February 7, 2025 at Plainview Jesus Name Church with Bro Stacy Lisenbey officiating. Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery

Pallbearers include Brad Reddin, Caleb Lisenbey, Devin Tubbs, Freddy Jones, Cameron Spencer, Dee Stone and Nathane Hodges.
