Dorris Wood Dorris Mae Wood age 89 of Ola died Thursday, March 15, 2012 at River Valley Medical Center. She was born February 15, 1923 at Shawnee, OK to the late Loyd Calvin and Sallie Lee Gentry Blair. She was a member of the Ola Eastern Star for 56 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul J. Pershing Wood. Survivors include her five children and their spouses, Paul Wayne and Betty Wood of Ola, Billy Joe and Estella Wood of Miami, FL, Judy and Tommy Bell of Ola, Dorothy and Bill Davis of Russellville, James and Mary Wood of Danville; one sister, Mary Ellington of New Mexico; fifteen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00A.M., Monday, March 19, 2012 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Rev. Lacey Minnie officiating. Burial will be in Graves Cemetery in Delaware. Visitation will be held Sunday, 2:00P.M. to 4:00P.M. at the chapel. Pallbearers: Tommy Taylor, Anthony Wood, William Wood, Rick Housley, Mike Jackson, Justin Jackson.
