Douglas Harley II, age 84 of Russellville, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. He was born March 13, 1938 in Long Beach, California to the late Douglas Harley Sr. and Marie Cabel. He was a partner in the Dardanelle Hobby Shop for many years, member of the Dardanelle Model Railroad Club, an active supporter for the Logan County Museum Society, lifetime member of the San Diego Model Railroad Club, active member of the Fort Smith Trolley Museum and active in other historical preservation organizations. Douglas was a lifetime employee of IBM Corporation as a customer service engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard Harley and a son, and Jonathan Harley.

Survivors include his companion of 18 years, Lucille Wells of Russellville; daughter, Kathleen Rayborn of Chula Vista, California; a grandson Alec Harley and  numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren and his pet-child, English Bulldog, Dolly who he adored.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00P.M., Saturday at the Dardanelle First Assembly of God Church with Tim Via officiating.
