Douglas H. Morell, "Papa D", age 81 of Centerville, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home. He was born December 13, 1941 in Walla Walla, Washington to the late H. J. and Catherine Sammett Morell. Doug was a self-employed contractor and owner of Evergreen Landscaping. He loved his wife and his grandchildren and going to the lake and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Wayne Morell and Jerry Morell and a grandchild, Austin Garner.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Martha Morell; his children, Sherry Morell, Brenda Cunningham (Larry), April Garner (Mike), Patricia Weisenbach (Ted), Doug Morell (Stacie); one sister, Judy Morphis (Buddy); two brothers, Dick Morell (Becky), Jim Morell (Wanda); fourteen grandchildren, Matt, Blake, Jacob (Amber), Magen (C.J.), Kelsey, Christine (Luke), Missy, Mandy (Phillip), Jessica (Ken), Danielle (Blake), E.J., Noah, Grant (Teá), Grayson (Audrey); thirty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00P.M., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Dardanelle First Assembly of God Church with John David Keeling officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, 1:00P.M. to 2:00P.M. at the church prior to the service. Burial will be in Petillo Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randy Anderson, Colorado Miller, Ben Frost, Kyle Olson, Douglas Bowen and Junior Reynolds.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Matt Hickman, Blake Hickman, Jacob Morell, E.J. Weisenbach, Noah Weisenbach, Grant Morell and Grayson Morell.
