Douglas Dean Schmidt age 67 of Ola, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his home. He was born January 28, 1958 in Palo Alto, California to Robert Dean Schmidt and Joyce E. Holt Schmidt. Doug loved taking trips, going flying with his dad, old classic cars, and the Old South Restaurant. Most of all he loved his daughter very much. He was preceded in death by his brother, David Schmidt.

Survivors include his father, Robert and Bette Schmidt; his mother, Joyce Schmidt; step parents, Sandra and Wayne Fuller; one daughter, Glenda Cathey; two brothers, Brad and Pam Schmidt, Curtis Schmidt; three grandchildren, Landon, Cody and Brody and one nephew, Justin Schmidt.

Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Cornwell Funeral Chapel in Dardanelle.
