Doyle Harris Claypool age 86 of Dardanelle passed away Monday, October 12, 2020 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born February 8, 1934 in Corley, Arkansas to the late Steve Claypool and Laura Melton Claypool. He was a member of the Slaty Crossing Free Will Baptist Church, a farmer and he drove a school bus for over 30 years for the Dardanelle Public Schools. He loved to garden, fish and go hunting. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Joe Claypool; three sisters, Dorothy Martin, Louise Goates and Wanda Ellis.

Survivors include his two children, Rance Claypool Sr. (Karen), Denene Whitecotton (Ricky); two sisters, Sue McGee (Dr. N.E.), Edith Ellis; three grandchildren, Courtney Breashear (Clayton), Cassidy Brown (Mike), Rance Claypool Jr. (Kayla); five great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
