Obituary

Duil "Wayne" Bell, age 69, of Havana, passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018.

He was born on January 13, 1949 in Danville. On November 21, 1970 he married Connie Gillihan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert "Duil" Bell and Jo "Verzene" Catlett Bell of Havana, two brother-in-laws, Arless Don Hood of Havana and Jerry Bledsaw of Danville, and his niece, Jennifer Jenkins of Coweta, Oklahoma.

He worked as a carpenter and retired from ANO.  He was an elder of Ascension Life Christian Fellowship in Danville.  Wayne served in the Army during the Vietnam era.

Wayne's biggest joys were his grandchildren.  He was an avid fisherman who loved catching a mess of crappie and then frying them up for family and friends. Wayne's smile was contagious and his kindness was genuine.  He loved his church family and searching the scriptures. He moved on from this world doing what he loved and waiting for those who loved him.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie Bell of Havana; his sons and daughter-in-laws; Keith and Misti Bell of Hot Springs and Gary and Kimberly Bell of Rogers; his grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan and Spencer Bell; one brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Betty Bell of Havana; sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Lois Gillihan of Haskell, Oklahoma, Evelyn Bledsaw of Danville, Vivian and Kenny Berry and Rosemary and John Kenney of Pottsville, Phyllis Hood of Havana, and Mary and Robert Gillihan of Mountain View; and numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and many many friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Ascension Life Christian Fellowship in Danville, AR with Lynn Garner officiating.

Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Berry, John Kenney, Wayne Turner, Everett Wayne Bledsaw, Charles Carpenter,  and Carl Robinson.
