Earl Edward Wilks age 76 of Dardanelle, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at his home. He was born August 9, 1949 in Devine, Texas to the late Luther Wilks and Ruby Riddle Wilks. Earl was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, raising beef and chickens and tending to his garden. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Doris Moore.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Cathy Wilks; two children, Shelley Threadgill, Craig Wilks; his siblings, Glen Wilks, Larry Wilks (Sonya), Melba Adair (Clarence), Norma Adair (Carroll); four grandchildren, Richard, Rebecca, Zach, Mandy and eight great grandchildren, Elena, Wyatt, Edward, Abigail, Atticus, Bronwyn, Lyla and Miles.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, 10A.M. to noon at the Event Center, 107 North Front Street, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834.
