Obituary

Earnest Wayne Mahan, born February 9, 1944 in Ola, Arkansas to the late John and Helen Lipe Mahan died Wednesday June 3, 2020 at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Caron Mahan under the care of hospice.

Wayne was a professional painter and avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the Apostolic Church in North Little Rock.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bill and sister Kathy; mother of his children, Patricia Adair Knight, his wife, Glenda Purdom Mahan and daughter, Shana, and granddaughter, Angel West.

He is survived by his three daughters, Sherry (Greg) Bland and Donna (John) all of Belleville and Karen (Steve) Gaston of Havana; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles and James Mahan, sisters, Marie Noakes, Linda Rochelle, Crystal and Glenna Mahan

Interment was at Rest Hills Cemetery in NLR.

Memorial services at Upper Spring Creek FWB in Belleville on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at 2 p.m. by Pastor Donnie Copeland and Rev. Greg Bland.
