Edmond Ray Demmitt, age 77 of London, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. He was born March 17, 1945 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Wilbur Franklin Demmitt and Leona Faye Apple Demmitt. He attended the Pottsville United Methodist Church, he was a Blacksmith and loved working in his woodshop, gardening, hunting, fishing and having cook outs with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Shelton Demmitt.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ruth Ellen Demmitt; three children, Edmond Dean Demmitt (Glenda) of London, Arkansas, Tammy Rae Hubbard (Samuel) of Wasilla, Alaska, Christy Rae Demmitt (Steve Rassmussen) of London, Arkansas; three sisters, Wanda Epperson, Jone Martin, Anitta Schwander; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and one on the way.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at the Pottsville United Methodist Church.
