Edna Yeary Cantrell age 80 of Dardanelle died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. She was born August 29, 1933 in Wagner, Oklahoma to the late Raleigh and Pearl Britt Yeary. She was a homemaker and mother. Edna was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dardanelle. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Nellie McDaniels and Margaret Bartell. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ted Cantrell, daughters, Barbara Pearson and Susan and Michael Standridge all of Dardanelle; grandchildren, Chris and Amy McEntyre and Jessica Minnie both of Dardanelle; great-grandchildren, Ashton McEntyre, Alyssa McEntrye and Peyton Simmons all of Dardanelle. Services will be Monday, August 11, 2 PM at the First Baptist Church in Dardanelle with Rev. Carl Fair and Rev. Mike Smith officiating. Burial will be in Brearley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Standridge, Chris McEntyre, Doyle McEntyre, Mike McEntyre, Roy Bull and Keith Bartell. Honorary will be staff and employees of Russellville Nursing and Rehab Center and Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
