Edna Doylene "Hunter" Christy age 78 of Russellville passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at her home. She was born August 18, 1942 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Clayell Miller Hunter and Laura Edna Thomson Hunter.  She loved reading, being a jokester and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Jay Christy Sr.; one son, Gerald Jay Christy Jr.; one brother, James Hunter and three sisters, Jimmie Finchum, Jean Bookout and Kathy Parker.

Survivors include two children, Steve Foster (Bobbi), Clayell Christy (Samantha); one sister, Wilda Baker; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild on the way.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
