Edna Lavern "Gurnny" Tramel age 93 of Belleville passed away Monday, April 29, 2024 at Mitchells Nursing Home.

Gurnny was born June 17, 1930 in New Blaine, Arkansas to the late Thomas Jefferson & Elsie Leora Rheuark Dixon . She was a member of the Belleville United Methodist Church. She was retired from Wayne Farms and S.C. Tucker Elementary School. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Leo Tramel; daughter, Denise Tramel; brother, Robert Dixon; sister, Pansy Cline.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry & Marcia Tramel; Terry "Ted" Tramel all of Belleville; sister, Johnnie Mae Henry of Russellville; brothers, Everett & Sue Jarnagin Jr.; M.D. & Judy Jarnagin all of Independence, MO.; Bill Dean & Phyllis Jarnagin of Shell Knob, MO.; sister-in-law, Rose Dixon of Belleville; grandchildren, Todd & Gwen Tramel; Helen Tramel, Diana & Barry Brand all of Belleville; Teresa Marie Tramel of Ola; great-grandchildren, Emily & Daniel Hayes of Madill, OK.; Whitley & Seth Ford of Panama, OK.; Lillyann Tramel and Josey Tramel of Poteau, OK.; great-grandchildren, Alexa Denise Tramel, Riley Ellis and Paisleigh Brand all of Belleville; great-great-granddaughter, Rory Hayes of Madill, OK.; and several nephews and nieces.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Upper Spring Creek Cemetery in Belleville with Bro. Logan Ferguson officiating.
