Edsel Farnam

Edsel Dennis Farnam age 75 of Dardanelle went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock. He was born October 26, 1935 in Delaware to the late Jess and Myrtle Vassaur Farnam. He was of the Baptist Faith and became a Christian late in life and this was a great comfort to him. He was a 1954 graduate of Dardanelle High School and enjoyed farming, cattle, peaches and his breakfast buddies, but the real joy of his life was his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bentley Farnam and a nephew, R.B. Farnam.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Farnam of Dardanelle; children, Vicki Kierre (Ron Rogers) and Ricky Farnam (Jamie) all of Delaware; Step children, Diane Cranford, Tony Brock, David Brock and Doug Brock; two grandchildren, Ethan Farnam and Elon Kierre of Delaware; step grandchildren, Jana Bunch, Tenesa Bunch both of Russellville, Stevie and John Delbusto of Dardanelle, Amanda Cranford, Steven Cranford, Brittany Brock; four great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a wonderful friend.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00A.M., Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the Delaware First Baptist Church with bro. Wylie Jones officiating. Burial will be in Elizabeth Hall Cemetery in New Blaine.

Pallbearers: Keith Flurry, John I. Farnam, Bobby Balloun, Ethan Farnam, J.L. Martin, J.J. Blalock.

Honorary Pallbearers are Harps breakfast Bunch and the Guys from Ever-So-Fast.
