Sonny Lane Edward O. "Sonny" Lane passed away on November 27, 2012. He was born on April 2, 1938 at Dardanelle, AR. Sonny was the son of the late Ollie "Short" and Elsie Lane. He was a member of the Army National Guard for 12 years, he loved farming, being outside and most of all he loved his family. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna Faye Lane; his sister, Betty Aldrich and his brother, James Lane. He is survived by his son, Joe Lane; his daughter, Janet Lane; his sisters, Geneva Reynolds of Dardanelle, Christine Farnam of Subiaco, Linda Haney and Reba Wood of Russellville; his brother, Floyd Lane of Dardanelle and his special friend Faye Smith of Clarksville and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, November 30, 2012 at the New Hope Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Farnam officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Michael Edwards, Eric Edwards, Mark Haney, Brian Lane, Jeff Lane, Brandon Lane.
