Edward E. "Gene" Robison age 89 of Danville passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at Chambers Memorial Hospital. He was born February 14, 1925 in Danville, Arkansas to the late Hobert & Linda Cherry Robison. He was retired from Wayne Farms and attended the Centerville Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dorothy Robison; brothers, Ernest, J.L. and Ed Robison. Survivors include his wife Melba Robison of 19 years; step-daughters Linda Martin& husband Eddie of Pottsville; Betty Domerese and husband Wayne of Danville; Jean Maddon of Danville; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brothers Ray Robison of Russellville; Buddy Robison of Ozark; sisters Louise Valveno of Ozark; Betty Gregory of Ft. Smith. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Centerville Assembly of God Church with Bro. Jeremy Bull officiating. Burial will be at Bowden Cemetery on Crow Mountain. Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Randy Robison, Richard Robison, Jason Robison, Matthew Robison, Eddie Dean Robison and William Smith.
