Edward Thompson age 80 of Russellville passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his home. He was born March 3, 1941 in Dardanelle, Arkansas to the late Linzy Thompson and Oma Lee McNeal Thompson. He was a Mason and was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lorine Thompson; one son, Edward Thompson Jr.; siblings, Joe Thompson, Leona Mae Cray, Bobby Thompson, Charles Thompson, Tommy Thompson and three grandchildren, Dominique Thompson, Keeriaun Thompson and Mario Thompson.

Survivors include his three children, Sharon Thompson (Michael), Nina Thompson-Shumpert (Johnny), Bridget Moragne (Carlton); four brothers, James Earl Thompson, Anthony Thompson, Jimmy Thompson, Oscar Thompson; ten grandchildren, Jerone Thompson, Kendra Polite, Miguel Thompson, Karmel Thompson, Marquis Thompson, Mario Thompson, Meetwon Thompson, Candes Thompson, Carvelle Moragne, Nakelya Moragne and twenty six great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00P.M., Friday, July 16, 2021 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle.
