Edward C. White, Sr., 80, of Danville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at his place of residence. He was born on October 25, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri.  His surviving family members: Kathryn J. White (ex-wife) of their three children, Brenda Lee White, Edward Charles White, Jr., and Russell Allen White, as well as Chad Grob Sr., and Wesley S. White, from previous marriages. His deceased family includes his sister, who also recently passed three days prior to Ed's death, as well as his deceased parents, Norma Hall White (mother - maiden name - Patterson), and James Russell Allen (father)

A private viewing will be held by the immediate family and a few close friends on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, at Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelles, Arkansas. He will be laid to rest at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Bloomfield, MO.

Legacy: Dad was a US Navy Veteran. Served from Oct 14, 1963, to June 25, 1969. He served in active duty on USS Randolph at Boston, Massachusetts, from 1963 to 1964. He served as the commanding officer of the U.S. Naval Reserve Manpower Center, U.S. Naval Training Center, Bainbridge, Maryland, from 1964 to 1969. Decorations, medals, badges, commendations, citations, and campaign ribbons awarded or authorized were the National Defense Service Medal.

Ed had a passion for classic cars and driving 18-wheelers from coast to coast, north and south. He was a devoted father to his children. Very proud of their accomplishments. He enjoyed living the simple life with his dogs and cats. He's known as Mr. Ed by his friends and as six-pack, a unique nickname used by truck drivers, and it was very popular in the 1970s.
