Effie Fisher Effie Mae Fisher age 78 of Dardanelle died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Johnson County Medical Center. She was born February 23, 1934 at Pento to the late Henry and Stella Roach Easter. She was a Christian, she loved to iron and sew and to plant flowers. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, James Chance. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, James Fisher of Dardanelle; two children, Carolyn Gooden and husband Harold and Debra Hampton all of Dardanelle; two brothers, V.R. Easter and wife Judy of Pottsville, Henry Lee Easter and wife Patty of Louisiana; two sisters, Alma Chance of Atkins, Jean and husband Sidney of Atkins; three grandchildren, Carol LeeAnn Howell of Dardanelle, Tracey Cross of California, Darlon Hampton of Alabama; two great grandchildren, David Howell and James Howell both of Dardanelle. Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M., Friday, August 24, 2012 at Pisgah Cemetery with Bro. David Bishop officiating.
