Ella Scott, age 90, of Morrilton passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025 with her daughter and granddaughter at her side. Ella was born August 22, 1935 in Briggsville, Arkansas to the late Lester and Hazel Martha Hall Vaughn.

She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Ella was a lady who spoke softly and loved deeply. She always carried herself with grace and beauty and was an inspiration to us all.

For years, she kept the prettiest yard. She was often seen working and tending to her many flowers. She enjoyed fishing and camping with the love of her life, Dale.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale A. Scott, her parents, her brother, J.L. Vaughn and her grandson, Scott Deen.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy and Tim Swain; granddaughter, April and Adam Talbott; great-grandchildren, Rylie, Khalil, Aiden, Kai, Alex, Nora, and Aaron.

Graveside service will 2:00 pm Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Briggsville, Arkansas.  Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, September 17 at Danville Cornwell Funeral Home.

Ella's life leaves a legacy of memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her and she will be profoundly missed. How lucky we were to be loved by her and carry that love forever.
