Elsie Sumers Cook age 84 of Russellville died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Dardanelle Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born February 9, 1934 at Ft. Douglas, Arkansas to the late Albert and Rhoda Garrison Clayton. She was a home maker and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; six siblings; a grandson, Eric Parker and a granddaughter, Laura Grace Sumers.

Survivors include her children, Kirt Sumers and wife Susan of Valley Springs, Claude Ray Sumers of Pottsville, Betty Adams and husband Ron of Dover, Eugene Sumers of Russellville, Carol Parker and husband Johnnie of Russellville; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and her fur babies, Josh and Jake.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later time with burial in Tarlton Cemetery in Lurton, Arkansas.
