Estil Herndon "Bud" Garretson age 76 of Clarksville died January 24, 2018 at UAMS in Little Rock. He was born June 18, 1941 in West Virginia to the late Estil Brant and Clara Mae Garretson. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Don Garretson, Cecil Garretson and Dean Garretson.

Survivors include his three sons,

Jeff Garretson of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Jay Garretson of Dover, Arkansas, Jerry Garretson and wife Lisa of Centerville, Arkansas.

His brothers, Elzie Garretson of Stafford, VA, Ray Garretson of Atlanta, GA, Jimmy Garretson of Galaplier, OH.

Sisters, Opal of Hillsboro, West, VA, Bernice of Florida, Nancy of Hillsboro, West VA, Maggie of Auberville, West VA.

Five grandchildren, Jerry Don Garretson, Meagan Dawn Garretson, and Tyler Herndon Garretson all of Arkansas.

Hailey Marie Calbraitt, and Patricia Lynn Garrett, both of Idaho.

Bud was a caring man who deeply loved his family and was dedicated to their wellbeing. He enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren and letting them know how much they meant to him. He was a devoted father and grandfather and was loved by many.

He left a loving impression on all who knew him and will surely be missed.

A private family conducted memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's research.
