Ether Bean Ethel Bean age 93 of Ola passed away with her family and friends by her side Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Chambers Memorial Hospital in Danville. She was born May 15, 1919 in Ava, Arkansas to the late David Thorton and Ethel Hardbarger Sims. She was a homemaker a mother and friend to all and a member of the Ola First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, William Thomas Bean and a sister, Orrie Sims. Survivors include her children, Walter C. Carter of Ola; Barbara and David Garrett of Rover; Shirley and Ollie Noles of Jessieville; Kay and Loyd Stanley of NLR; special family the Jr. Morrison's family of Rover and a host of family and friends. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Ola First Baptist Church with Brother Donald Walker officiating. Burial will be at Nooner Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. before service at the church. Pallbearers will be Gary Morrison Sr, Garry Morrison Jr, Bobby Murphy, Mike Sims, Pedro Garza and Ronnie Barnes. Honorary pallbearers include Walter C. Carter, Jimmy Garrett, David Garrett, Charles Bean, Bobby Bean and Jerry Bean. Arrangements are by Cornwell Funeral Home, Danville.
